Art of living

Art of living

"This world is full of sufferings". These are the words of Gautam Buddha, the 9th incarnation of Vishnu. At first some people including western people does not like this statement. What surprises me even more is that Jesus, another pioneer of the 9th wave who bears the equal status as of Buddha, also gave the same message that -"This world is full of sufferings". Wheneven you go to the church, first thing you see is the suffering Jesus hanging on a cross, which gives a message that even son of God suffers if He takes birth on earth. But who can teach anything to west. They do not have the attitude to accept the change. All they care about is to enjoy their life at their best. West is the most powerful and that is why India is also getting influenced from the west. People of India are also imitating west and being materialistic. These days we have "His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Ravishankar", founder of Art of Living also who talk exactly opposite to Buddha or Jesus and claim that – "This world is full of joy". No wonder He has lots of fan followers especially from west. Who is correct? Is it Buddha / Jesus or Ravishankar?

Let us have a look at below mentioned mathematical equation -

1 = 0 * Infinity

1 = Human Being

0 = Devil

Infinity = God / god (devta)

Empty mind is the house of devil. Empty place is also called as the existence of zero.

Devil and God both live inside us. When they combine they make human being. Attaining devatva (Moksha) is nothing but removing devil from you. If we remove devil from us we become god.

To become god or Devta is the ultimate ambition of human being.

"If you divide yourself by nothing, you become god (or attain devatva). "

"The more you desire, the more it grow.

The less you desire, the more you grow"

Ok. First let me see this world from Ravishankar's perspective. If I consider this world as full of joy then I will concentrate on enjoyment and I would like to enjoy each and every moment of my life. If I get a choice between choosing sufferings and enjoyment then I might prefer to choose enjoyment. There are 6 enemies of human beings. These are lust, anger, greed, arrogance, attachment and jealousy. Why do I call them as enemies? The reason is that they stop your spiritual growth and will take you away from your ultimate ambition, the Moksha. Why people end up of being trapped of these enemies? It is because of our perspective and our attitude about this world. People feel enjoyment in all these 6 enemies. A person who is looking for enjoyment will definitely end up falling into the trap and will live with these enemies and by doing so he will be away from achieving his ultimate ambition.

Now look at the world from Buddha's perspective. If you say that this world is full of sufferings then you will think about those people who suffer. You will think about helping them. You will think about yourself and this world. Why did God make this world? What was His purpose? You think inward. You will understand the truth that this world is nothing but a trap and it is the ambition of human life to get out of this trap. The ambition is to come out of the cycle of life and death. How can we achieve that? We can achieve that by helping those who suffer. We can achieve that by doing the right Karma. We can achieve that by staying away from 6 enemies of our spiritual growth. Very few people remember God when they are happy but almost all of us remember God when we suffer.

So if I ask that what Buddha or Jesus taught us then the right answer should be that "He taught us the art of living." Buddha or Jesus did not give us another religion but a different perspective to look at the world.

Some people argue that Krishna, the 8th incarnaion of Vishnu, also lived the life which was full of joy. At this point I would like to remind you that this is the reason we call Him "The Yogiraj" (King of Yoga). He was in the Matrix but was not the part of it at all. It is we who see Him from that perspective but the truth is that He was no different from the Buddha. Both of them were as pure as a child. A child either wants everything or nothing. He will not settle in middle. Krishna wanted everything while Buddha wanted nothing. Krishna is also known as India's version of Godfather. He gave us another emotion when we remember God and that is "fear". He also gave us a warning that - "Be good otherwise I will come back and will do justice with you". We should follow the even and odd waves but we should not imitate the even incarnations. We should not try to become Krishna or Parshuram. We should aim to become Ram or Buddha or Jesus. Even incarnations are for those who do not like or follow the odd ones.
